Advice from the WT regarding drinking alcohol.

The Watchtower logically prefers everyone that knows TTATT to disfellowship themselves

every active jw that stays in hiding their knowledge about ttatt is a hole in the watchtower wall.

i propose those who can stay in, should, especially if they have high positions.

how else can we know what they are up to?

You have to ask them awkward questions in a way that doesn't out you, then control your desire to supply them with the pre-scripted answers that you think they so desperately need, so that they have to do the research and find those answers for themselves.

Your best chance to weaken the faith of the Dubs around you is while they still consider you to be a SuperDub, so outing yourself as a doubter helps the bOrg more than it helps you.

Ending Bible Study

i have been studying with jehovah's witnesses for approximately two years.

initially, i liked the studies and felt that i was growing closer to god.

Could you give us all some examples as to what questions to ask them Black Sheep ?

The best questions are based on material that the JW has given you rather than from 'dubious' sources like here, JWFacts etc... Pick something from the book being studied, a WT, Awake!, etc.. Be patient and pick your question carefully. Know the standard answer and it's flaws before you ask it. If they have you stumped, let it go until the next visit to give you time to do your homework. If they are stumped, let it go until their next visit, at which time you will want their answer.

Most of their literature has been critiqued here and a search should be able to find something. If you can't find a critique of your current study book, or need help, ask.

You don't have to tell them to go away. You can ask them a question they don't like the answer to, then insist that they answer it without morphing the question into another question they would rather answer. If you spot them using dishonesty to weasel their way out of answering your question, give them a guilt trip for it.

Do this until they either leave the JWs, or until they leave you alone.

Ignorance of Watchtower doctrine among young JW's

i've been having a conversation with a young jw on twitter and have, once again, come up against beliefs that do not match up with official watchtower doctrine.

if you like you can read the full thread here (you'll need to click on some comments to open it all up).. anyway the upshot is that this jw, and many like her, believe that only truly wicked people will be killed at armageddon - not innocent babies and children or anyone who "didn't know better" perhaps because they didn't get a witness.

it's as though they cannot accept the obvious injustice of jehovah's morality.. this jw teenager believes that all these non-jw's who survive armageddon will get their chance to prove their loyalty during the 1000 year reign of christ - again, not a watchtower teaching.. i don't really have a question to ask, this is just an observation.

If they try to pull the 'old light' card, I ask them for a published article that rescinds it, having been careful not to choose a subject that has one.

Backed into a corner, my JWs will look me in the eyes and lie their aces off to pretend that doctrines they are uncomfortable with were never taught, or that we 'don't teach that any more!'
